I Wasted My 20’s: 7 Life-Changing Lessons by Charlie Chang
1) Listen to Yourself
You don't have to always listen to your parents or other adults if they don’t have the exact life that you want. My parents had great 9–5 corporate jobs but that wasn’t the life I wanted.
Parents are doing their best in raising you but they might not know what is best for you because that’s the only path they’ve taken.
2) Building Confidence
Most of us have so many limiting beliefs. Too many.
You deserve to have confidence. People are always thinking that others are staring at them and watching your every move. Don’t compare yourself to other people’s life. Don’t compare your income, situation and accomplishments because everyone has a different life journey.
As time grows on, the spotlight becomes dimmer. Don’t be scared of what people think about you. The more you age, the more that light becomes dimmer and the less you care. In fact, you realize no one cares about your journey more than you should. The faster you realize that, then the quicker you will gain confidence and do whatever the fudge you aspire to.
