Breakups are tough

For the past 9 months together, we were so in love. We were head over heels for each other.

I cooked and he cleaned.

He showed me what it’s like to be taken care of.

He taught me how to play tennis.

He would fill up the water pitcher for me..so I wouldn’t ruin the filter

He would ask me if I wanted desserts after dinner and so I gave him a good old massage for his tense muscles.

He would wait for me with the lights on after my 16 hour ER shift
